Become a Certified Lifeguard
We offer comprehensive lifeguard certification classes throughout the year. Our training program is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to become a professional lifeguard. Whether you're looking to start a career in aquatics or want to work part-time during the summer, our classes will prepare you for success.
Our certification program follows national standards and includes both classroom instruction and hands-on pool training. Upon successful completion, you'll receive a nationally recognized lifeguard certification that opens doors to employment opportunities at pools, water parks, beaches, and aquatic facilities.

Water rescue techniques and procedures
CPR and First Aid certification
AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training
Surveillance and scanning techniques
Emergency action plans and response

Pool chemistry and maintenance basics
Legal responsibilities and liability
Physical fitness and endurance training
Prerequisites & Requirements
Must be at least 15 years old
Ability to swim 300 yards continuously
Tread water for 2 minutes using legs only
Complete a timed event: swim 20 yards, surface dive 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound object, return to surface, and swim back to starting point
Pass written exam with minimum 80% score
Demonstrate competency in all required skills
